User Comments for Nightmare on Elm Street: The Final Chapter
Jason13th (10 out of 10 ) Better than Freddy's Dead.
Nancy (1 out of 10 ) This movie sucked. Only good thing about it was the first and sixth one because Johnny Depp was in it. And let me tell you they must of paid him A LOT of money to get him to be in the sixth one, because by that time he was extremely popular. This movie's disgusting. No wonder Johnny Depp only was in the sixth one for 13 seconds! I bet they paid Roseanne a lot of money too to be in the sixth one, and she didn't get a long part either, she's too smart for that. So is Johnny Depp. What is a hottie like that doing in that crap anyway?? Being in the first one makes sense, 'cause he wasn't really popular then, but he still could have done better. If only he looked like he used to today, it's sad. EVERTHING about him is perfect, EVERYTHING! Not one thing about him is wrong (in his 20's). Hell that's the only reason I even watched A Nightmare On Elm Street 1 and 6, 'cause he's in it! And i don't care if it's 13 seconds or 8 seconds, if he's in his 20's and is in something, I'll watch it! What happened to him? He used to be so good-looking with all them tattoos. Do you think I want him just a little too bad?
Lauren (7 out of 10 ) I thought it was pretty good. But the original will always and forever be my favorite.
Dook (10 out of 10 ) Nancy's an idiot (and I mean you, Nancy, not the Nancy from the Nightmare movies, who is and will always remain a horror movie goddess). This movie is comedic, surprising and thoroughly watchable. I give it all of my stars, and I give your opinion a bullet.
Scott (10 out of 10 ) I agree with you, Duke. Most of the NOES movies have camp value and are NOT to be taken seriously. Parts 1 and 3 will always be my favorites and the hardest one for me to watch is Part 2.
James (6 out of 10 ) Actually Nancy Johnny Depp said he would do it for free. He owes his career to a Nightmare on Elm Street he has stated that and said if asked he would do another cameo or whatever in another one of the films.
Brandon (10 out of 10 ) This movie was made as a dark comedy, not straight horror, so to criticize the movie as non-scary is idiotic. And to criticize it for a short Johnny Depp cameo isn't bright either, he did the movie because he got his start with part 1. The movie accomplishes what it needed, an end to Freddy (somewhat) while being darkly funny and DAMNED entertaining.
wesley (9 out of 10 ) I think Brandon has a point. The movie wasn't meant to be a full on scary movie. They basically embraced Freddy's humor, an that's why I like this movie. The power glove reference made it worth the watch.
